Key features

Text or image watermark — Text: any string, font size 8-200px, any color. Image: upload a logo (PNG/JPG/SVG with transparency), scale 5-80% of source width.
6 position presets — Top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, center, or tile (5×5 grid covers entire image).
Opacity slider — 5-100%. Default 60% — visible but doesn't dominate the photo.
Rotation -45° to +45° — Tilt the watermark. Common: -25° to -45° for diagonal stamps.
Margin control — Distance from image edge for corner positions. 0-100px.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work for batch watermarking?

v1 is one-at-a-time. For batch: use the same watermark settings, drop new image, click Download. ~5 seconds per image. Native batch support is on the roadmap.

Will the watermark be removable?

It's baked into the pixel data of the output PNG. Sophisticated users with Photoshop + content-aware fill CAN remove watermarks from simple text on smooth backgrounds. For unforgeable copyright protection, combine with a visible watermark + EXIF metadata + a signed JPEG (commercial tools).

Does the output preserve quality?

Yes — PNG is lossless. Original pixel data is preserved 1:1; the watermark is layered on top via Canvas API. File size will be larger than the original JPG (PNG is uncompressed).

Can I tile the watermark across the whole image?

Yes — pick the 'Tile' position. Watermark is repeated in a 5×5+ grid covering the entire image. Useful for theft deterrence on previews.

What fonts are available for text watermarks?

v1 uses the browser's default sans-serif (bold sans-serif). Custom fonts (Google Fonts, uploaded TTF) are on the roadmap.

Max image size?

~25 megapixels (5000×5000) works smoothly. Larger images may cause browser memory issues — resize first with the Image Resizer tool if needed.
